"Bea Kinnear has done the painstaking research and legwork for you, producing a comprehensive guide to undesirable ingredients used in many skin care products and who manufactures them. ‘Your Skin and You’ is a real eye-opener and separates fact from fantasy. I highly recommend it as a valuable resource for those involved or interested in the skin care industry."

Collette Larsen, USANA 5-Star Diamond Director

Your skin is a reflection of the overall health of your body. Yet we place our trust in the health of our skin with an industry that continues to sell us ineffective and harmful products. Your Skin and You, helps you identify the ingredients to avoid and the companies who continue to sell inferior skin care. You will also learn the secrets to achieving healthy skin at any age. Bea Kinnear’s book informs and gives hope to anyone searching for better skin.

I just wanted to share with all of you a tremendous woman, I met Bea at the USANA Convention last week, I had heard a great deal about her and from her through our email distributions and Q&A forums, but they certainly did not prepare me for the truly awesome person that she is.

Bea has taken so much of her own time to truly investigate the skin care and beauty industries, she has compiled reams of data and information so that consumers can truly make informed decisions about their own health. I would strongly recommend that if you at all care about your long term health and/or care about the women (and yes, men also use skin/beauty products) in your life you will go to Bea's website and look into info that she has made available!

I have just purchased over the weekend all that she had on her site, it cost less that $30, for some women that is less than a tube of lipstick, and I am overwhelmed by the amount of info to go through.

I got Your Skin and You, the 4th edition today (in Chicago, my Special Delivery order arrived in less than 24 hours after you sent them from Canada!) - went to my light session today where I have been "dribbling" on Rebecca, a massage therapist who works there - and as I went in I said, oh, I brought this book for you to look at - It's the only one I've got - but why don't you look at it while I am in there --- anyway, I came out 20 minutes later and she said "You've GOT to get me one of these books. Oh my god - I cannot believe how many companies test on animals! and all those terrible ingredients - I use Clinique - - I cannot believe what's in there! You still have my number? Call me tonight - I want to place an order"

Dear Bea ,

THANK YOU so much for such a lovely Sensé evening in Cowichan Bay. It really charged up the gals on my team and gave me some inspiration regarding my approach to the presentation of these products.

Bea you are a wonder...I would like to have you back here in the autumn to rev up the gang in Victoria. You have a great grasp of the industry and our product line, and you function marvelously well when the whole room is chatting up a storm!! I think that my business partner Karen Ross, who attended with me, had a great suggestion...you could offer a certificate course for advanced (serious) distributors. We both sensed you had so much more to share and we would like to participate in the training after the presentation. Thank you for coming to share your expertise.

Keep in touch,

Ani

Hi Michelle,

I have a great recommendation for you. Go to Bea's website at www.yourskinandyou.net and download her TidBit Newsletters. It is a very nominal cost, and it is an absolute wealth of information. After finding that I had so many questions about the line, and other lines and products, and how it all works in general, I found that it was a very worthwhile investment! Not only do I now have any information (just about!) that I need at my fingertips when I need it, I'm also finding that the more I read through all of the information (and there is a TON of it!), the more confidently I feel I can speak of Sensé. The other great thing about it is that she also sends you regular updates as she finds new info. It is the most complete resource that you are ever going to find! I find that I use that info for most questions that I have or come across, and then this group is great for getting individual testimonials, etc..., to help fill in any blanks. It’s very, very much worth it! Many thanks to Bea for putting it all together for us!

Hello Bea!

Your post was perfect and to the point. You just applied Arch Lustberg ("How to sell yourself principles when somebody objects you: "don't repeat the objection, show the benefits"!

You also provided some information that all of us did not have. The impression John Garruto left that Paula Begoun had a prejudice against USANA. Now I see it differently. I also liked the balanced analysis you did from both sides. Thank you for your time, for the "Skin & You" and your sharing/caring attitude. That makes us proud of USANA family.

All the best,

Ed Torres

Hi all,

I just want to thank Bea publicly for all her continuing support and advice.

It is certainly wonderful to have such a knowledgeable person amongst our ranks and her willingness to share such excellent material crossline is impressive. You set a fine example to us all!

Thank you Bea!

Hi Bea:
I just wanted to acknowledge and thank you for the amazing way that you contribute to the Sensé group with such informative, well-written, accurate and timely input. Although I don't spend a lot of time perusing the e-mails I always listen up when I see your name, and it's always totally worthwhile. Thank you for keeping the spirit of crossline sharing alive and well,

Hello Everyone. Here is a little something from Bea Kinnear - our Sensé expert. For those who are not familiar with Bea's work (as well as that of her husband and son), she is a Usana distributor from the West Coast of BC, Canada. She has taken the initiative to really do something unique with Sensé and in the end - as is customary for this industry -by helping countless others has propelled her business. Bea's book "Your Skin and You" in all its editions as well as the "Tidbits" that come with it when you sign up (absolutely tremendous bargain), are great tools to help you understand other product lines as well as skincare ingredients. Bea's new book and Website are noted below and I do hope those of you who actively promote Sensé or have people in your downline who do will pass this information along.

Bea has been most gracious in sharing the attached files with all those on the Sensé Support line. Some of you may not subscribe to this service but I know that Bea, with her big heart, would love for you to have this material, too. Even if you are not in a large center don't discard this material. How often do you travel to a large center? Many of us in the outback of BC travel to Calgary, Spokane, Las Vegas and other large cities. When you plan one of these trips, why not make it part business and write off some of the expenses? Make arrangements ahead of time to visit bridal consultants and you may be surprised at how easy it is to expand your business into another area and get a tax break to boot.

Have fun with this folks!
eileen

Dear Bea:
What a great gem you shared with us: "In skin care, the TRUTH of the product is in the ingredients, not in the advertising"
I intend to use your line often. It says it all.

Thanks!!

Hello to you all,

I just have to say what a prize we have in Bea. Her complete answer to my prospect's questions go above and beyond the call of duty!

As well, I have to say that her comments regarding Paula Begoun are so tactful and sensitive that it is truly a privilege to be part of a company with reps like Bea.

It is the sharing of information like this that makes it a pleasure to be involved with Usana.

Take care and enjoy each and every day.

Bea,

Thank you so much for those two documents. I'll be looking forward to learning more over time at your web site! I appreciate all you do and share with all of us promoting Sensé in our USANA businesses!

Hello Bea,
I’m interested in reading the document on How to Sell Sensé to Salon Owners and would appreciate it verymuch if you would send me a copy.

Also, I truly appreciate all the excellent information you so willingly share with the USANA family, Bea. As soon as I see your name as the sender, I know I’ll be reading something very valuable!!!

Thanks so much for all you do,

Wow, Bea! This is AWESOME! I am going to try that scalp treatment on myself! Also, I just contacted a woman whose family has thin hair and dandruff, who desperately wants help with it. I am going to suggest that she use these products to stimulate her scalp and promote circulation to the area, while stimulating growth of hair from the inside with the Essentials, or the Health Pack 100, which is what I take.

You are, as the kids are fond of saying, "da bomb!"

Hello Bea,
Your recent msg on DMI Sense Support prompts me to write you something I have often thought, and have never taken the time to tell you: I so appreciate the valuable information you continue to share with all of us so freely. Even more than that, I am grateful that you take the time to respond so carefully to our questions. I wonder if you know how respected you are? Thank you, thank you thank you!
